Anarchy Reigns

After a long period of mysterious silence, a final release date has been revealed for Anarchy Reigns. Publisher Sega announced that the brawler already out in Japan for quite some time now, will arrive in North America on January 8, 2013 and in Europe later that week on January 11.

Developer Platinum Games is currently working on several titles at once, including Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but that’s not why it got delayed. According to Gamesindustry.biz, the developer mentioned “we are done with all international versions of Anarchy Reigns” and continued to express disbelief as to why the title was delayed. Whatever the reason, gamers will soon be able to club their way through hordes of thugs, giant monsters and robot-like creatures. As an added bonus, Sega mentioned that the game will receive a discounted retail price of €29.99. The announcement comes with 3 short character videos, featuring Ai Rin, Fei Rin and Rin Rin. These three variations hold different outfits, attitudes and fighting sticks. One has nunchaku-like batons, while the other one does some sort of pole dancing with her enemies. That’s right. The red variant is more of a flame person and bears a cross on her back. We’ll place the 3 short clips below.

Anarchy Reigns will release for Playstation “ and Xbox 360.
