League PlayCall of Duty:  Black Ops 2 is set to be released on November 13th of this year, so it’s only fitting that Treyarch continues to reveal new details about the different aspects of the game.   As many of us already know, there will be a new multiplayer game mode known as “League Play.”  Including this game mode will provide players a more competitive way to play Call of Duty.

For those of you that don’t know, “League Play” will allow users to compete in matches with and against other players of similar skill level.  On October 20th, David Vonderhaar was asked a question about “League Play” that has been on my mind for quite some time now.  He was asked that if you search for a match, will it still be possible to be placed in the middle of a game, or have they finally decided to change that.  Vonderhaar responded on Twitter by saying that players will not be allowed to join any League Play games that are already in progress.

Although this is great news for the future competitors in League Play, I would still like to see this same thing implemented in normal game modes.  Being automatically put into a game that’s already in progress can be the most frustrating thing (since most of the time your team is getting destroyed).  It has not been completely confirmed if this will be included in all of the game modes, or solely League Play.  That means there is still a glimmer of hope for those of you that can’t stand joining games late.  Do you guys think that you should be allowed to join games that are already in progress?  Leave a comment below and let us know how you feel about it.

Ah, i believe that, just maybe it should stay the same for regular game modes.
I mean, if someone leaves, it would pretty much, imbalance the game and noone else can join to help out…
I say League can stay as is and regular game modes as they were

Yes it should be allowed because if it isn’t every game will probably be forfeited every time. BUT you should be asked if you WANT to join the game BEFORE you join the game.

This is exactly why I asked you guys what you thought! I like the idea of being asked before you join the game. That’s probably the best way to make it work for everyone.

Ok so you cant join a session in progress…
What if you’re already in a game with a 4v4 and some of your teamates decide to leave, Does that mean it would stay as a 2v4 through out the whole game?

I believe that if players back out in the middle of a match that the game should find players to fill those spots, (it’s hard to play a game when its 6 on 2). That being said, the stats (whether good or bad) from that said match should not go against any players that entered in late. Now the players that backed out from that same game and created that void is a different story. If a player backs out early because of a royal beating and they don’t want the loss or bad stats to affect there KDR, they should be penalized. Now the penalty can be anything from an asterisk next to there stats showing that they are cowards or it can be more complex like giving them the stats that they should have had from that match. Example: player backs out in the middle of a game with a 0.25 KDR at the time, the team that he was on gets beat 7500 to 2400, now it comes down to simple math. Each player on the losing team had an average of 4 kills per player and with a mid-game back out KDR at 0.25, that gives him 4 kills and 16 deaths to his stats as well as a loss. There can be many different ways that a player who chooses to back out mid-game can be penalized but I feel that something should be done. It’s unfair to those player like me, who likes to play those tough matches and get our butts handed to us and then finally beat that team and then it turns into a grudge match. I believe that is what real gaming is, it’s not all about the stats

At times it can way annoying but you do have to keep it in perspective that those left in the game by those who have bailed out deserve some assistance especially in game modes such as Search and Destroy. I’d be very interested to see if some sort of consequence could be created for those who decide to rage quit! That’s the root of the problem: Cowards and cry babies!

This may be OT, but I must ask; will League come with the new BO, or will it be something you must pay extra for?
I apologize for my bad english.

What if when you went to join a screen popped up and says the score, and how many players on each team, as well as their ranks. And saying no 3 times in 30 minutes will add a asterisk by your name like D1RTY R0DRIGUEZ said. Or lower your score.

It should show you the score and ask if you would like to join…cause nothing sucks more than coming in a game that’s 7480 to 800 and you go 0.0.0.0…and your kdr crashes…
