Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is set to be released on November 13th of this year, so it’s only fitting that Treyarch continues to reveal new details about the different aspects of the game. As many of us already know, there will be a new multiplayer game mode known as “League Play.” Including this game mode will provide players a more competitive way to play Call of Duty.
For those of you that don’t know, “League Play” will allow users to compete in matches with and against other players of similar skill level. On October 20th, David Vonderhaar was asked a question about “League Play” that has been on my mind for quite some time now. He was asked that if you search for a match, will it still be possible to be placed in the middle of a game, or have they finally decided to change that. Vonderhaar responded on Twitter by saying that players will not be allowed to join any League Play games that are already in progress.
Although this is great news for the future competitors in League Play, I would still like to see this same thing implemented in normal game modes. Being automatically put into a game that’s already in progress can be the most frustrating thing (since most of the time your team is getting destroyed). It has not been completely confirmed if this will be included in all of the game modes, or solely League Play. That means there is still a glimmer of hope for those of you that can’t stand joining games late. Do you guys think that you should be allowed to join games that are already in progress? Leave a comment below and let us know how you feel about it.
