Recently, something caught my eye while roaming around on the Call of Duty website.  There were details posted (since removed) about Black Ops 2, revealing that there will be a Season Pass available.  According to the information, this Season Pass is completely unrelated to Call of Duty Elite.  Instead of Call of Duty Elite costing players their money to see in-depth stats, it will now be free.  However, the difference is that all of the DLC’s for the year will not be included.  If this information is legit, and it seems that it is, then buying a Season Pass is going to be the new way to prepay for all of the future DLC’s.

The details of what the Season Pass will actually cover are listed below.

The price of £34.99 that was listed roughly equals $55.00 USD.  At this point, it isn’t confirmed that Call of Duty Elite will be completely free, but all signs are pointing that way.  The likely outcome is that Call of Duty Elite and the Season pass will be completely separate, which is good news for most.  How do all of you feel about these changes?
