Treyarch has yet again hyped up Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 zombie mode by teasing us with a few different images that they posted on their Twitter account. As many of you know by now, earlier this week Treyarch changed their Twitter avatar to a picture that represented zombie mode. On top of that, they recently released another teaser in the form of a few images.
One of the pictures showcases a boarded up doorway with a street sign right next to it labeled “Zombie Ln.” The second image also shows a boarded up doorway, but if you look in between two of the boards, you can clearly see some sort of glowing red object. Also, at the very bottom of the picture there is a poster that seems to have the characters from the zombie map Call of the Dead. Could this possibly be hinting at a sequel to the popular Call of the Dead map from the first Black Ops? Another thing that makes people believe that there might be a sequel is if you look really closely at the metal in the middle of the doorway, you can see what appears to be the face of the director George. At this point, this is all speculation and there is no way for us to know for sure what all of this actually means. Only time will tell if George and the other four characters will be making an appearance in Black Ops 2.
In addition to the two images, Treyarch also changed their twitter avatar yet again. This time, the avatar shows a hand of a zombie that is reaching through a wall. Obviously this doesn’t really hint at anything special but it’s always exciting to see any images that are even slightly related to zombie mode. I can only hope that the reason why Treyarch is doing all of this is because there will be a zombie trailer released in the near future. Stay tuned for more zombie related details!
