Where did this come from? Canabalt was an indie hit on mobile devices. Its simple one-button control gave birth to a simplistic run and jump genre for all to enjoy and even more to copy. That’s basically all the title entails: Run like hell and jump so you don’t die.

Still, its presentation of silhouettes and grayscale tones combined with high intensity gameplay made this game stand out from the crowd. And now it has burst onto the scene of the Playstation Network or Sony Entertainment Network. It got praising words from a lot of esteemed publications, so it’s bound to have some qualities. And since it’s a Minis title and very simple at that, it only costs a mere 2 Euros. Publisher Beatshapers said that North Americans will be able to purchase Canabalt in the following weeks.
