Cinders

Indie developer Moacube has released a visual novel called Cinders. This PC game (also Mac) takes the player through the story of Cinderella, but with a more stern approach.

It is said that this fairytale will put a lot more consequences into actions and the protagonist will deal with topics such as oppression, responsibility and innocence. It features 120 decisions in total with over 300 options. Several endings to this adventure are possible.

More importantly, the game’s art is rich in color and very detailed. All illustrations are made by Gracjana Zielinska and look gorgeous. Since this is a visual novel, presentation is a big section of the whole damn cake, so at least that part looks yummy. A ‘moody’ soundtrack is provided by Rob Westwood.

Interested people can find a demo or buy the game here.
