Colour bind Gameplay

There’s a new indie puzzle game inbound that messes with the laws of physics and it’s called Colour Bind. This project from Puppy Punch Productions will use color to mess with gravity in a unique way.

The game promises multiple solutions to over 50 puzzles that combine color and gravity to overcome a certain stage in a 2D platforming setting. While its look is minimal, Colour Bind promises to be hard; really hard. Your ingenuity won’t be the only thing tested in the game, as several sections also require a lot of forethought and added dexterity to complete. More so, achievements are set out to the people who are the most skillful in these completions, so prepare to practice. It’s similar to Super Meat Boy, but with a lot more physics conundrums.

A trailer may show you more than words ever could. Gravity is pushed towards a certain direction, indicated by the colors below. For instance, red objects might steer downwards, while blue objects will fall to the left when triggered. You maneuver a car thing affected by these colors and try to bump your way to the end of the level. At around the 1 minute mark there does seem to be some frustrating platforming sequences that are rather tricky to overcome.

This PC game will have a release date shortly and will also feature cooperative puzzles, as well as a level editor for even more ingenious enigmas. Oh, Colour Bind will also include a color blind mode, to cash in on its name reference.
