Guys and gals, Tequilla Works released a new trailer for their XBLA title Deadlight and once more it’s a testament that you should keep a close eye on this game.

The trailer goes deeper into the story of the post-apocalyptic title with some dark inked comic panels. All hell has officially broken loose and people have turned on each other, so expect a decent amount of atrocious behavior. Aside from that, the clip also interlaces art with some gameplay footage with equally dark cinematic values. In the vein of games like Limbo, Deadlight sports a slick 2D silhouette platform presentation with some stunning level designs. In the trailer we can see a ton of climbing and exploration going on. Ladders, walls, ledges; grumpy and bearded protagonist Randall Wayne is like a true spidermonkey.

Some other elements that we can spot is a health and stamina system, which will likely affect the reaction time needed to either kill or escape zombies. On that front, Deadlight also has some action shots in this trailer, because violence is where it’s at. Our personal favorite is the axe execution.
