Belgian developer Larian Studios released Divine Divinity 10 years ago. Since then, they’ve added an entire Divinity franchise to their repertoire. They celebrate their anniversary of the PC saga with a collection and a promotion on GOG.com
With Divinity Anthology Collector’s Edition, 3 games get bundled into one package filled with extras. Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity and Divinity II: Developer’s Cut will receive a limited run of 25,000 copies in this edition. The developer’s cut comes with added incentives as well, such as a console where players can mess around with the game or use features that were ultimately never released.
The Anthology Collector’s Edition comes with 2 soundtracks that feature outtakes. There’s also a 130-page long developer’s journal that gives you the history of 15 years of Larian Studios. A sticker set offers skulls and dragons and such to stick to your many things. There are 2 double-sided posters. Lastly, it comes with 2 in-game items for Dragon Commander and Original Sin, which will release next year. The total is estimated at a price of €29.99. A digital Steam version of this edition is also in the works.
Those that can’t wait that long or would like to get in on a deal can already head over to GOG.com. The site specializing in older releases has set up a sale, disguised as a pay what you want scheme, for the 3 aforementioned titles. The original Divine Divinity is available for as little as $0.01, but beyond that, you’ll need to beat an average of a few more bucks. To also unlock Beyond Divinity, you’ll need to spend a bit more than $6.5, at the time of writing, while the developer’s cut will need a little over $13. It’s a tiered promotion, so it’s not possible to pick and choose which titles to get. As with all GOG.com releases, the sale comes with tons and tons of added incentives, like wallpapers, soundtracks and even novellas. You can find this action here.
