Nintendo issued some known titles for this week’s European eShop downloads. The 3DS will add games to the digital platform that were previously handed out to duped adopters in the Ambassador program. This promotion recompensed early 3DS owners for a rushed price cut on the 3D peripheral with 20 games, consisting of 10 NES classics and 10 GBA titles.
This week, 3DS owners will be able to download Donkey Kong Jr. for €5. The game features the kid simian in rescue of his caged parent, trapped by the evil Mario. Timing is vital, as you swing from vines, jump on platforms and avoid monsters. A second Nintendo classic released this week is NES Open Tournament Golf. As the title suggests, you’ll be able to put your way to victory and that by using Mario or Luigi as your character. It’s priced at €4.
Additionally, the eShop adds a demo for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The commercially successful sequel has been out for a month or two now, but gamers on the fence can now try the 3D adventure for free. Finally, this week’s DSiWare is Rummikub, a numbers game quite like dominos, available for a sizable €8.
The Wii will receive 2020 Super Baseball for 900 Wii Points. The sports title originally released in 1991 adds a futuristic spin on the titular game.
