Football manager 2013

Sega’s megalomaniac soccer game Football Manager is celebrating 20 years with its 2013 iteration. The PC game will offer a brand new game as well as a unique preorder incentive to commemorate the event. Gamers that order their copies before release will receive exclusive access to the Beta taking place two weeks before the game launches.

The Football Manager 2013 Beta will grant you access to most of the final elements available in the game. More importantly, players needn’t fear a complete wipe, as Beta save games will be compatible with the final build that will release on November 2, 2012.

This year’s game will feature over 500,000 characters in over 50 countries. A new game engine will rework the 3D artificial intelligence to react more realistically and it will add to that hundreds of new animations. The managerial role gets updated with new features that let you delegate some decisions to cut down on fluff. This will all come with an updated interface.

There will also be 2 new game modes to choose from. In Football Manager Classic, players can cut down even more details to get right into the action. Individual training has been cut and the 3D matches will only show highlights, but even there it will be possible to skip right to the results. Challenge mode will test your managerial skills with timed events, such as helping a team climb out of relegation. This challenging mode was first introduced in last year’s handheld mode and integrated in the main release due to popular demand.

Football Manager 2013 will also make use of Steam’s online capabilities. Players will be able to play against each other or even stack up their own Career mode teams to see who truly is the best of them all.
