Gameglobe

Square Enix and Bigpoint released more info surrounding their mutual free-to-play project Gameglobe. A video with Game Director Rune Vendler guides us through the world of Gameglobe.

The game could easily be summarized as LittleBigPlanet in your browser, as it relies heavily on user generated content. Players make their own levels from scratch with the use of hundreds of items and then share their creation with the world. Then, they can play each other’s stages and rate them and so on. The clip sees us through a few of these versatile levels as well as looking at the simple game editor. In minutes, you’ll be able to build a traditional game level to your liking.

Gameglobe is currently in closed Beta and will welcome new players “soon.”
