Cryostasis

We’ll continue today’s special date to remind you of several other Halloween sales. The first is another bundle for charity by Groupees. Their Bundle of the Damned offers the marvelous sleeper hit Cryostasis as a Steam download.

Along with the basic purchase comes Rijn the Specpyre in…. Manor of the Damned!; your basic 16-bit throwback to RPG adventures of times past. It may be a link to the past even, if you catch my drift. While Cryostasis is a game you should pick up by default, the bundle also offers some goods for those that pay over the small price of $4. The horror game Anna hasn’t gotten far, due to some questionable design choices. However, this would be the time to see what the game is about. BlindSide takes the concept to another level by providing an audio adventure. It puts players in a scenario where they are blind, as they must use sounds and recognition to find their way, while avoiding monsters. This could well be a polarizing concept for gamers, so we suggest trying it out.

Naturally, the bundle also comes with tons of music albums, as always. In fact, Groupees might even bundle a bit too many of these random albums in, but at least they also offer comics and movies for those interested. More importantly, we want to reach the goal of 6000 sold bundles, so Legendary from Spark Unlimited is unlocked. It may not be the best shooter to exist, it even has a poor Metacritic score, but it would definitely be an opportunity to seize this game for pennies and try it out. Call us weird, but oddball games are fascinating, from an inquisitive point of view.

You can purchase the Bundle of the Damned here.
