Deviating from the path a little, localization experts Ghostlight Games will take a slight break from bringing JRPGs to the West. Instead, their next venture will be Crash City Mayhem, a game released as “Runabout 3D: Drive Impossible” in Japan.

The goal in the game is to simply create as much destruction as possible, although it will also feature a set of missions against terrorists. You’ll also be able to run from the police, as well as rescue hostages or plant bombs. The sky is the (explosion) limit. It will feature an array of strange cars and add a few more eccentric choices to that, such as tanks! These can be upgraded with additional secrets. It’s a bit of a mix between Carmageddon, Crazy Taxi and the likes.

No further details, such as cost or release date, are currently known, but we’ll keep you posted.
