Telltale Games is the paragon for episodic game seasons and the publisher would like to remind us all that it’s still here. First off, they’ve released a batch of their most notorious titles on classic game peddling format GOG.com.
Starting now, you can head on down to their site and grab yourself the series Sam & Max Save the World, Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space and Tales of Monkey Island. Save the World contains 6 episodes of the dog and rabbit detective duo in some witty and insightful point and click adventure games. Beyond Space and Time is more of the same, with 5 episodes filled with brain teasers and thigh slappers.
Tales of Monkey Island presents 5 episodes of its own lighthearted comedy goodness. This iconic point and click adventure starring the swashbuckler Guybrush Threepwood gets a nice 3D coating to sail the seas of cheese puzzles.
If we may suggest, you’d do best to hop on board now and get yourself these games now. Until July 3, GOG.com is offering these DRM-free wonders at a 60% discount. More so, each game comes with bundles upon bundles of extras. Aside from avatars and more wallpapers than you’ll ever need, these packages come with lots of additional videos, concept art, music and more fan incentives.
To wrap up what is essentially a giant high five towards Telltale, the publisher also released the second episode of the critically acclaimed The Walking Dead game. This second episode will mark whether or not the consequences from the previous episode will truly and significantly impact the continuation. Two trailers have been released for the occasion. The first recaps what players have chosen so far. We must explicitly warn you to not view that clip if you haven’t played the episode, as it contains major spoilers. We’re serious.
After that, take a look at the launch trailer for the second episode. If you wish to know more about The Walking Dead, feel free to read our review here.
