Hello Kitty is expanding the franchise onto Nintendo 3DS. Majesco Entertainment announced that it will release Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends on the 3D handheld this holiday season. This would be the debut title on 3DS for the cartoon cat.

In Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends, players prepare for a picnic outing by collecting items for their party with a selection of 10 mini-games. Such games include Hidden Object and Spot The Difference. Additionally, customization options will be available to decorate Hello Kitty’s lodgings along with their appearance by collecting decorations, outfits and other knickknacks. There will also be a multiplayer option to invite friends in a selection of different gameplay possibilities with several of the universe’s known characters.
