Square Enix revealed an online mode for Hitman Absolution. The Contracts game mode will feature asynchronized gameplay to ensure competitions at all times.

In Contracts, players take on missions of others or create targets themselves. By using selected weaponry and disguises, players need to make the hit as stylishly as possible and then leave to reap the rewards in the form of Contract dollars. These can be used to unlock more weapons, techniques and so on.

The game mode is inspired by Hitman’s gameplay that encourages inventive and creative kills. A similar approach is already available in the preorder Sniper Challenge and that game works like a charm!
