Square Enix released some more goodies concerning Hitman Absolution. The anticipated assassin game will receive a limited Deluxe Professional Edition for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
People that order this particular beauty will be able to show off a 25cm (10”) vinyl rendition of Agent 47 in super deformed or “chibi” style. The icon will be branding guns with silencers in both hands. But more importantly than this cute little killer and the slick black box it will be shipped in, there will also be more physical items to brag about. The Deluxe edition will come with a hardcover artbook as well as a “Making of” DVD that takes us behind the scenes. Lastly, the Agency Gun Pack DLC grants access to 3 weapons with added equipment, such as silencers.
Don’t forget: Preorders also get to play the “pre-game” Hitman Sniper Challenge. This repeatable sniper game unlocks even more content by achieving objectives and finding hidden secrets. The game in itself is a blast to play through and is a new standard for preorder events in this ever more present occurrence.
On another note, Square Enix also released a new trailer for their ICA files in Hitman Absolution. It seems the flak received from the previous sexy trailers with high heel nuns and explicit violence has made the company do a 180° for their next clip. Playing it safe, the entire clip is just a recorded message with no visual stimulus whatsoever. Let’s see the pundits cry wolf over this one. It actually mentions the previous clergy assault gone awry. It comes with the news that actress Vivica Fox will lend her voice to the leader of these Saints. She’s most known for her work in Kill Bill and Independence Day. That’s a pretty well timed announcement.
