A few days ago, we received the above image in our inbox ‘teasing’ us of an upcoming event in Hitman Absolution. As we try not to spread news items of 5 words that tell you absolutely nothing, we decided to wait and that patience has paid off. Square Enix released a new trailer for Hitman Absolution that you’ll want to see.

Of course, when you think of Hitman, you automatically think of armed dominatrices in knee-high stiletto fetish boots, armed to the teeth and wrapped up tighter than Gouda cheese cellophane, right? Well, this trailer delivers in spades. As Agent 47 tends to his wounds and clothes himself, classy as ever, these vixens approach his current location and then all hell breaks loose. We don’t want to spoil more of it, but take a look. It’s the more hands-on, close combat approach this time for Agent 47. It’s…different. The trailer also ends with the tagline “the original assassin,” though here he is the one being attacked and simply fights for survival. It’s rather confusing.

The press release mentions that the clip is meant to show off the computer generated imagery and it certainly does, with sparkling bright and clear visuals. So let’s just keep it at that.
