Build a bundle

Indie deals are so rampant these days that we’ve officially breached one site making 2 promotions at once. Groupees launched both their newest Build a Bundle deal, as well as an additional package called Winter Wolves, the manga game bundle.

Winter Wolves gives a boost to visual novel games. For a minimum of $1, gamers can get their hands on 3 styled adventures.  Heileen provides the journey of an 18 year old girl through 8 chapters of discovery. In Bionic Heart, players immerse themselves in a futuristic world that has been corrupted. Depending on your playing style, there will be 24 possible endings. The game comes fully voiced. Lastly, Vera Blanc: Full Moon puts gamers in the shoes of the titular character in a mystery game set in the Black Forest of Germany.

Those that purchase the bundle for a mere $5 or more will also receive 2 bonus games: Always Remember Me and Heileen 2. All games are available as a DRM-free download or as a Desura key. Purchases of $10 and up will even receive Planet Stronghold. This bundle lasts a week and can be found here.

Build a bundle

The third Build a Bundle promotion lets you decide how many games you’d want and it adjusts the minimum price accordingly. There are 9 titles to grab in total, for a low minimum of $6.75. Charity goes to Child’s Play and buying these games regularly would cost a bunch more, so we suggest giving a few bucks more. The nine games available are listed below:

  • Secret of the Magic Crystals
  • Detour
  • Omegalodon
  • War in a Box: Paper Tanks
  • Apox
  • CreaVures
  • Chrome + SpecForce
  • Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World
  • 99 Levels to Hell

Secret of the Magic Crystals enjoys cult popularity as a sort of a joke title. It’s a horse farming game where you can breed unicorns. Omegalodon is a quirky multiplayer game where players battle a 100-foot shark-monster attacking the city. Finally, Apox is the real time strategy predecessor of Tryst, which launches today. From our experiences so far, both games are fairly similar, so that might be a good introduction for people that are interested in playing it.

Purchases will come with a whole bunch of indie soundtracks. You can choose your preferred bundle here.
