Indie Gala and Bundle Stars Complete Each Other

Indie Gala 11

Did everyone survive Thanksgiving? In case you didn’t get your fill of deals then or missed out due to a food coma, we’ll regale you with 2 more indie bundles.

The IndieGala bundles are rolling in consistently now and so we arrive at number 11 of this promotion. This round of cheap games for charity focuses on some deep real-time strategy titles, but with some bigger action titles as well. People can follow the pay-what-you-want scheme to get their hands on 3 core titles: Imperial Glory, XIII Century and NecroVision: Lost Company. The first two offer huge armies with squads of dozens of brave warriors that go toe-to-toe for the glory. Themes will follow the 19th century of cavalry and muskets or sword and shield respectively. The latter NecroVision also uses wartime for its shooter, but here the Nazi era is filled with the undead.

Beating the noted price, currently standing at $3.99 also yields 4 more Steam releases: Men of War, Men of War: Red Tide, Cryostasis and Star Wolves 3. You may have spotted several of these in previous bundles, but in case you missed out on them, we highly suggest picking up the creepy atmosphere of Cryostasis. Star Wolves is a space strategy title, like we’ve seen a few times before as well.

As always, the bundle will get additional bonuses revealed later on and helps the Italian Red Cross deal with victims of the Emilia earthquake. You can get the IndieGala 11 bundle here.

Bundle Stars

In a strange coincidence, you can complement the above offer with yet a new arrival by the name of Bundle Stars. This subsidiary of Focus Multimedia launched their first package deal dubbed the Dynamite Bundle and features games in line of those mentioned above. Here, people have a fixed price and payout, but the desired $8.01 does yield 7 or 8 full titles, depending on your view. We’ll mark all the available games below:

  • Men of War: Vietnam
  • Off-Road Drive
  • Reign: Conflict of Nations
  • Death to Spies: Moment of Truth
  • Death Track: Resurrection
  • Star Wolves 2
  • Real Warfare 1242
  • Bonus: Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades

We’ve already established some of these game elements, so we’ll focus on the rest. Reign of Conflicts is a tabletop strategy game that spans over several centuries, as players optimize their empire and move in on their neighboring territories. Death Track is a vehicular combat title set in a nearby future. The Death to Spies series was also available in a previous bundle and takes stealth games to war times. The Real Warfare series offer the same type of medieval real-time combat as the titles in the IndieGala deal.

However, the bonus title needs to be unlocked before you can access it. In an insidious move, this game requires consumers to go to the Bundle Stars page and press the Like button, before releasing it from its hostage situation. You can find the Dynamite bundle here.
