Indie Royale

It’s the season of holidays, so we can expect a lot of topical events. One of these is the new deal from Indie Royale that combines a few creepy titles for their Halloween Bundle.

As always, these titles come to anyone who pay above the set average, currently floating around €4.10. Most games have some eerie hook or creep factor to them, to justify a ghastly premise. Prepare yourself for a bunch of adventure games; 5 in total, as listed below:

  • Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse
  • Home
  • Pathologic
  • MacGuffin’s Curse
  • EvilQuest

The game of choice for us would be Home, a unique detective feature set in a pixel universe. Players navigate dark rooms by the radial lighting of a candle, while they try to solve the mystery at hand. Pathologic is another eccentric game, but mostly due to its weird visuals. Russian developer Ice-pink Lodge is known for its completely warped games, such as Cargo! The Quest for Gravity. You’ll have to see this one to believe it as well. Telltale Games in turn is most known for their episodic adventures, with Sam & Max at the helm of many whimsical adventures. In this full season, they’ll also gain dark powers like teleportation or mind reading.

You can get the Halloween Bundle here.
