Independent studio Commotion Games has released an Alpha version of their upcoming gamesd Recruits. This PC twin stick shooter is out now for a lowered price during the development process. You can find it on Desura or their site.

The game made with the Unreal development kit is already looking slick. A top down view gives a look at your squad of soldiers that can move and shoot freely across multiple environments, from jungles to snowy fields. Recruits offers a wide variety of weaponry, as well as destructible environments and interactive objects. More so, players can level up their squad and upgrade their capabilities, to create a more efficient killing machine. This team also takes several orders for tactical combat.

Recruits will contain singleplayer as well as a cooperative mode for those that enjoy destroying with their friends.
