Gamersgate snuck a nice little indie bundle feature on their site. The IndieFort Bundle includes 6 PC games in total at a value of about 60 or 70 bucks, available for a minimum of $5.99. The titles are: Kenshi, Devil Whiskey, Steel Storm: Burning Retribution, Black Market, Wanderlust: Rebirth and Cardinal Quest.

Now, Steel Storm is not that good of a game; its first episode is also similar and available for free here. The other titles however are more than worth the admission price. Cardinal Quest is a deceivingly well-crafted roguelike with some decent layers to it. We haven’t tried Devil Whiskey, Wanderlust or Black Market, but all 3 seem to be very decent titles in their genre. Wanderlust might be a favorite for fans of traditional RPGs of the 8bit era.

More importantly, Kenshi is a rather intriguing title. I personally followed it for a while now and its open-ended and earnest pitch could be a revolutionary gameplay mechanic once it picks up speed. It’s currently in Alpha. The game’s main drive is that players aren’t ‘heroes’ or ‘special’ and must be very careful with their actions and train to become decent or even just survive. Its other ploy is that it’s completely open and lets players become anything from warriors, mercenaries, rogues, traders and anything in between. We advise jumping on this title right now, seeing as you’ll also be able to finance other indie developers and get 5 more games out of it in the process.

In addition, Gamersgate launched a bonus program with the bundle that offers extra content depending on the amount given or units sold. At the time of writing, it has added 1 additional game and 2 soundtracks, along with a thank you video. You can acquire this the IndieFort Bundle here.
