Hey! Remember that time that you were a secret agent, saved the world, got the girl and did it while drinking enough fancy drinks to induce A.A. meetings and possibly a hospital visit for alcohol poisoning? No? Oh that’s right! That would be because you are not a secret agent and you are certainly not James Bond. You are most likely similar to every other gamer out in the wild blue world of mediocrity. You sit at your house, on your couch, bed or other butt cheek resting device and click away at your control until your eyes are bleeding and your thumbs have an ungodly amount of calluses on them and rather than getting all the girls, you get all of the eight year olds talking about their latest sexual adventure with your mother. You do not drink martinis but you drink Mountain Dew until your urine comes out looking like blue voltage and of course let’s face it…you do NOT (and I cannot emphasize that enough) save the world in fact most of you probably count yourself lucky if you can make it to the door in time to get your pizza. I am of course talking about the readers and not myself… let’s face it I get up, throw on my jetpack and go into space, save the world from aliens, destroy anyone who so much as udders the words that’s what she said with my laser eyes, then take your mom into my arms and make it home with more than enough time to watch Game of Thrones.

Luckily for the rest of the world (again not me) Activision has stepped in to help the rest of the public at large. They are offering gamers all over the world the opportunity to step into James Bonds tuxedo or…ya know…my shoes and live how only the elite secret agents and stunningly handsome game journalists live. With James Bond: 007 Legends, the newest game in the James Bond franchise that will span six classic James Bond Movies and culminate in the newest James Bond Movie (Skyfall) that will hit theaters later this year.

“To honor 50 years of the world’s top secret agent,  007 Legends offers a collection of his most famed moments in the smartest and most treacherous Bond game yet,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing, Inc.  “Creating a video game storyline that ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movie narratives can be challenging, but together with EON Productions, our developer Eurocom, has pulled it off to create an homage that we think will be a unique and highly entertaining Bond video game.”

So far Moonraker is the only confirmed title that will appear in the game but Activision has promised us extra missions similar to the Goldeneye: Reloaded title that came out in 2010 as well as full multiplayer support featuring weapons, gadgets, maps and characters spanning James Bonds 50 year legacy.
