Still confused as to when the hell you get the MW3 DLC? We can’t blame you if trying to figure it out gives you a headache. XBL Elite subscribers, PSN Elite subscribers, XBL non-Elite subscribers, and PSN/PC non-Elite subscribers all have different release dates for different bundles of DLC. I know you’re all just ready to yell “SOMEONE JUST TELL ME WHEN I CAN PLAY THE NEW MAPS”.
We’re here for you. The handy little timeline above should help to explain it. Basically it breaks down like this.
January 24th: XBL Elite subscribers get Piazza and Liberation
Soon after Jan 24th: PSN Elite subscribers get Piazza and Liberation
February: XBL Elite subscribers get more DLC
March: XBL Elite subscribers get even more DLC
Later in March: XBL non-Elite subscribers get the option to purchase all the DLC released so far as a bundle.
April: PSN/PC non-Elite subscribers get the option to purchase all the DLC released so far as a bundle.
It’s worth noting that PSN Elite subscribers still get access to the first two maps before non-elite subscribing XBL members in spite of Microsoft’s agreement to get the content on XBL first. It just means they’ll have to wait a few days after XBL Elite subs get it.
The only thing we’re still looking for details on is when the PSN Elite subscribers get the 2nd and 3rd rounds of DLC that XBL Elite subs get in February in March. Our guess is just a few days after just like we’ll see with the Piazza and Liberation maps coming to PSN Elite members a few days after January 24th.
why does PS3 and PC get Fucked over? i swear infinity ward must but butt-buddies with microsoft. i feel even worse for those PC users.

^ Yeah I think it’s got to do with Xbox Live being a paid service. But not sure, and those PC gamers don’t even get Elite at all.
It’s stupid as hell cause all of us xbl players who already have to pay for that service get fucked, cause not all of us can afford the elite service. I’ve got a wife and a baby to pay for too for fucks sake. #dumb as shit
ok i love how xbl knows exactly when their getting their maps but of course psn is only “shortly after” Jan 24th come on, i know their on a contract and stuff but not everyone plays on xbl
Does anyone know if there will be more PS3 trophies added with any of the DLC? I have 100% and I don’t want to lose it
When i paid to become a subscriber of elite i made a contract with them to get the DLC earlier and as i took it at the same time as the rest of the subs no matter what format , but once again the ps 3 players get screwed over because theres more money in xbl
Always in maps to multi player in dlc there are no new achievements ,but now theese maps work in survival mode so maybe….I hope there will be
yep…cod has jumped the shark…guess its time to move on to something new cuz i have no iterest in game extensions or spec ops missions and i will be damned if im going to pay top dollar for two lousy maps…ive heard mainly nothing but complaints about the new maps…
seems to me that they are making it where you pretty much have to buy elite to get the maps and so forth.if you dont have elite you cant get anything till march and with that you have to get it in a bundle thats bs.
also i dont think its fair that someone who paid 60 bucks for the game has to wait just because other people with no brain paid an extra 50 bucks for a freaking disk just to get elite.just do away with DLC or only offer it to the non brain people if they are gonna do that.im not even gonna buy the new maps on this game due to that.
