Publisher Iceberg Interactive continues to unleash free updates for its titles. This revival of olden times is something we will always support. This time, the free content will arrive for one of their 4X titles, Gemini Wars.

The mission based game will receive skirmish and multiplayer modes, starting on November 2, 2012. This is also the date that the game will release on Steam. To get players ready, the price has also been dropped to €19.99 for 16 long missions filled with cinematic effects, colonization and more space strategy tropes. CEO Erik Schreuder mentioned that the game’s pacing has been updated as well. Given the sluggish motions we’ve seen from Gemini Wars so far, this is certainly a good thing, as it can get boring in the infinite emptiness of space. The Iceberg Interactive head continues to say: “The 4x genre has really seen an upswing in 2012.” We can certainly agree with that notion. The publisher itself is already responsible for a few titles and then there are still the releases of Legends of Pegasus, Sins of a Solar Empire and even several indie projects that are currently in development.

the Last Crown

Furthermore, upon re-release of The Lost Crown in Germany at €9.99, the publisher mentioned a deal to expand the game into a trilogy. Iceberg Interactive struck a deal for 2 more sequels with the first called The Last Crown to release in 2013. The adventure game will be presented in a black and white setting, with added color splashes. Its theme is ghost hunting and follows the works of Nigel Danvers and Lucy Reubans, with both names referencing Belgian culture for some reason. Even so, the game is set off the coast of rural England with its spooky locales and moody atmosphere. This will be the perfect environment to test out the new GhostGadget and uncover the strange enigmas that are buried within the game.
