Magicka

Paradox Interactive had a hit with their strange action RPG Magicka last year. It’s been so successful that the publisher is still heavily supporting it today. The newest DLC announced is called The Other Side of the Coin and will release on June 14, 2012 for $4.99.

In this download content, players will further explore what it’s like to kill your fellow wizard. Magicka is a co-op title where accidental deaths frequently occur, because you can never cross the streams. This DLC will let players play with the bad guys that throw away any accidental notion of killing the good guys. You’ll be able to control Alucart the Vampire and his Necromancers henchmen.

Additionally, the DLC adds 4 more challenge maps: World’s End, Volcano Hideout, OSOTC Arena and the Mirror Crystal Cavern Hideout. The PvP mode will also include a Necromancer. This news comes with a trailer as well.

If that other Paradox Interactive title Crusader Kings II is more your thing, then the publisher has something for you as well. The Sword of islam DLC adds Muslim rulers and a variety of new features in its patched wake. Players will be able to play on a larger map, differentiate claims and enjoy a whole new plot.

Sword of Islam is also dated for somewhere in June 2012 and will bear a $9.99 price tag. We also have a trailer for this one.
