Good news for anyone eagerly anticipating the collaboration between Namco Bandai and anime studio Studio Ghibli called Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. The publisher has announced a “very limited” Wizard’s Edition of the game.
Along with the game and a pristine while packaging, the special edition will contain a recreation of the Wizard Companion tome used in the game itself. This whopper of over 300 pages will contain a bestiary and item compendium with tons of details in full color. More so, it will include DLC for exclusive familiars called Golden Mite and Golden Drongo. Finally, the box comes with a little plush figure of Drippy, the main character’s magical companion in the game that has a lantern stuck to its nose.
People that preorder Ni No Kuni will also receive two exclusive familiars called Flutterby and Griffy. No price tag has been released as of yet, but it looks like a solid deal nonetheless. Having a book handy with tons of added data is the closest you can currently get to having Xbox’s latest Smartglass technology.
The game launches in Europe on January 25, 2013 as a Playstation 3 exclusive item.
