There have been some rumors swirling around, but it’s now official. The popular Black Ops map Nuketown will be making a return in Black Ops 2. The “re-imagined” version of the map is available as a bonus when pre-ordering Black Ops 2 from various retailers. Right now that list includes Amazon.com, Best Buy, and Gamestop and the deal is already live, meaning if you walk in and pre-order today you will be eligible for the map.
Mark Lamia, head of Treyarch studios, said that Nuketown was chosen because “it was a blast to play before”. Hopefully this won’t be the last of the freebie throwback maps that make their way into Black Ops 2.

Personally I couldn’t stand nuketown I’d prefer any other map but it’s all a matter of opinion so grats to those who wanted it.

i prefer the map Firing Range they can re-make it for black ops 2
welll… i like nuketown a lot. BUT i don’t want to preoder blops 2, i want to wait and try it out first. sooo it looks liek treyarch is now on my shit list. fuck you treyarch and you bullshit preorder bonuse
Keep Nuketown but add some stuff to the map like third floor capability, and stuff like that
I like the idea of bringing it back because it was so popular, but I dont like how you have to pre-order the game to get it. Some people just don’t have the money to pre-order the game. I would just throw the map in there as a bonus.
I just had a great idea! maybe in the center of the map is an apartment and its four stories of rapid fire, knife throwing claymore placing goodness!

Its a great idea but it will prob be like with the first black ops. Pre order and get all world at war zombie maps as a bonus. The last black ops map pack was all the bonus pre order maps. So they will probably release it later on in a map pack for people to purchase if they didn’t want to pre order so those people should just calm down. And I’m hoping they remake a few old ones and release it as a map pack, cuz a lot of people would have prefered firing range or some other maps.
There goes Treyarch throwing out PC again. Just when we thought they were taking care of us with the Dedicated Servers, they don’t have it as a Steam pre-order bonus, and lets be honest, most of us are going to buy through Steam. Also, on BO, Nuketown wasn’t big enough because there are up to 48 players in some servers. Nuketown is just too small for more than 12 players. I would have liked something like Summit instead, with limited sightlines Summit can handle 24 players comfortably.
YES!!! nuketown was the best! they should also give firing range as a throwback because that map was the next best.
What About Stadium I Love That Map Treyarch
i love nuketown but treyark always makes theyre games with shity graphics and it is always laging dont get me wrong im going to get the game but only because my friends are and thats all they will be playing
