Creator of casual powerhouses PopCap Games, now a part of the EA machine, have finally launched a store of merchandise for their Plants Vs Zombies franchise. Now anyone can get figurines previously only available as special promotions.

The online store will house some posters, shirts and other apparel, along with plushies and figurines of both zombies and plants, available both for North America and Europe. It’s definitely pricy, certainly for European fans, but it’s a specialized store and we know how EA feels about their monopolies. You can find the online store at http://www.pvzstore.com.

Even more importantly, PopCap Games has announced a long-awaited sequel for Plants Vs Zombies. The new game coming somewhere in the late spring of 2013 will receive new features and situations. The release came with this unknown blurb:

“Spring is crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots,” noted an unidentified spokesperson. “So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan… we’re freee anytime. We’ll find you.”
