PlayStation 4 Sells 1 Million Units in first 24 Hours
Looks like Sony has learned from their mistakes. The PlayStation 4, released November 15 in North America, has reached 1 million units sold in its first 24 hours. This is an enormous jump from the PlayStation 3’s 81,639 (estimated by Media Create) debut in Japan on November 11, 2006.
In September, Sony stated their goal to sell 5 million PS4 units by March 2014, and considering they’re already a fifth of the way there and haven’t released worldwide yet, the outlook is rather positive. For those of you who haven’t had the chance to get your hands on one of these, the PS4 will make its appearance in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on November 29th.
