Resident Evil 6 received two more gameplay clips. There’s a lot more action edited in this time around and features quite a bit of info surrounding the game, so take a look.
The first goes down to a cemetery, which means we will see dead people. Agent Ada encounters chests that she can blast open with a quick shot from her powerful crossbow. We can then see her hanging around with some people, after which she promptly gets out a grappling hook to move around in Just Cause 2 fashion. That’s about the appropriate time for the dead guys to become violent. Combat seems rather active, with a good amount of movements and acrobatic moves. More so, counters are possible to turn an attack against the mobs. The clip also features a range of different enemies, such as a strange creature that pulses with loud noises.
After Ada falls into a pit, we get a short sequence where she needs to out-crawl an oncoming trap, all the while being accosted by dead people from the other side. It will even be possible to brandish weaponry in these tight spaces. We then witness some cooperative elements, where puzzles are overcome together. The team is also seen battling some abominable mutation in an arena setting, with tentacles flying all over the place. We close this section of gameplay with a sniper rifle that can take out distant enemies blocking your team from arriving to the scene.
The second piece of footage takes a look at Agent Hunt mode, where the player will take charge of the bad guys apparently. As the name suggests, you’ll take charge of the mob that needs to take down the agents running around. Presumably, the agent side will be overpowered to be able to survive the onslaught of attacks. More so, getting hit enough will morph the bad guys into new creature mutations with different attacks. The first stage spawns a huge grapple arm that grabs the opponent and slams them to the floor. More hits mutate the grapple into a full-fledged creature that can spit acid clouds.
