Dishonored

Bethesda published a second chapter to their graphical illustrations from Dishonored and its backstory. It’s not going to get less weird from here on out, we can assure you that.

This tale called The Hand That Feeds, takes place directly after the first clip that shows how the city of Dunwall became the modern dystopia it is now. In this second silhouetted depiction, we follow a boy who has only known fear and loneliness. He has no recollection of how Dunwall was before this waking nightmare. The only interactions he has with his fellow man are somber to say the least. So, he seeks refuge with the rats. That is, until a mysterious stranger appears and brands an even weirder mark on his hand.

From there, the boy suddenly gains powers that he can use to thwart his detractors, but that is not without consequence. As he feels the consequence of his actions, he at least is not afraid anymore. Dishonored is a strange and unnerving story.
