Ubisoft once more launches a topical event for their free-to-play browser game The Settlers Online. This friendly builder is currently following the European Championship Football Tournament and has a football event of its own.

Until July 5^th, players can complete football related quests on soccer pitches for rewards in the form of the round item used to play the sport. These balls can be exchanged for a bunch of additional buildings and advancements or in the form of a flowerbed in your favorite country’s flag. A Friary building is available that replaces 4 breweries of the same level. Additionally, players can simply purchase balls. However, be mindful that after the event none of these special resources will be available anymore, but leftover balls will still be tradable for event items one week after the end.
