Bethesda candidly blasted Doom 3 BFG Edition into this world. The HD remake of the classic first person shooter (FPS) comes with the original Doom and sequel Doom 2. It also includes addition missions and is available for Xbox 360, as well as Playstation 3. It’s priced at €29.99 for PC and €39.99 for consoles. We have a launch trailer to get you excited.

Another shooter we haven’t been discussing enough is titled Ravaged. Reverb Publishing is adding to the FPS competition more, after already taking the dinosaur apocalypse of Primal Carnage under its wings. Ravaged is a post-apocalyptic multiplayer game where gamers can battle with up to 32 players at a time and climb into a set of different vehicles. This PC game is made for PC gamers and prides itself on including features others have lost during their console transition. This online title features dedicated servers, advanced graphic settings and a dedicated anti-cheating system that also allows the developers for direct control and customization of the game. Think of it like Rage with better multiplayer support. It’s currently available through numerous media for $24.99 and a special 4-pack available at a discounted price of $60. A demo is also compatible with the full version to let anyone join the fun. You better believe we have a trailer for this as well.

Lastly, the surprising indie title Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is now also available on PC. For just ten bucks, players can take on this story of a chicken against a strange communist regime of penguins. It presents itself in a 2D side-scrolling action title like Shank or one of its many peers. It previously released on Playstation Network and in particular we enjoyed its cooperative features, which offered a dedicated campaign with special puzzles.
