This free ptch will fix the issues the game has had with terrible frame rates and inconsistencies that ruined the atmosphere completely. More so, it will resynchronize the audio in order to match it much better than before. This should considerably enhance the game, as ambience is a driving force in any survival horror game.

More high fives come in the form of free downloadable content for none other than Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. As part of the celebration that is 25 years of Metal Gear, the iconic stealth game will receive a free DLC update with trophies. That’s right, after all this time, players will be able to enjoy 34 new trophies to unlock. We think one of those might be watching through the hour long ending credits, possibly with a motion controller to check if you’re actually paying attention.
