Hearthfire

Bethesda has been inspired by the massive success of The Sims. The company’s latest intention is to offer house building content in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Hearthfire DLC will release on September 4, 2012.

The video explains just how to create and maintain a household. First, you’ll need to buy a plot deed. A carpenter’s bench will help you set up the house. It’s possible to make your home into an elaborate mansion with common rooms and more specialized spaces alike. For instance, a greenhouse or lab will give the player all the tools they should adventure for otherwise. More so, you can deck the halls with large trophies of slain foes or hire a steward to do the dirty work for you.

Hearthfire also adds a new adoption system that allows you to raise a family, complete with bastard children. While raising said kids, you’ll need to stay alert and defend your castle from monsters.

Sadly, the DLC is once more only announced for Xbox 360. Even more unfortunate, there is still no word on when PS3 owners will be able to enjoy the first DLC Dawnguard. Hearthfire will cost 400 Microsoft Points.
