Square Enix just revealed a mysterious new title called Murdered: Soul Suspect. Its tagline states that the hardest murder to solve is one’s own.

Along with the reveal comes a rather stunning trailer with computer generated imagery. Its golden shine makes us think of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, another Square Enix game with some intrigue. We see a man falling out of a window, brandishing a firearm. It’s not much, but at least it shows the skill of whoever is designing this. Additionally, the game has channels on social media and its website www.murdered.com, where people are encouraged to sleuth to find out clues.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is expected to release in early 2014 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Their forums state that there are “no plans to bring the game to other formats.”
