Dishonored stealth

Bethesda announced that it has received several awards during Gamescom. The company was glad to receive the prestigious Game of Show award for their game Dishonored. Officials at Gamescom threw in the Xbox 360 Game of Show and PS3 Game of Show in as well. To give you a glimpse of why these commendations were handed out, Bethesda released a new trailer for the upcoming title.

In this clip, we’ll take a look at Dishonored’s stealth mechanisms. As this is a stealth action game, remaining under the radar is rather important. The developers previously already mentioned that the most skillful players would be able to finish the game without ever killing any one person. Dishonored will use cones of sight and such, which can be visibly perceived by the use of one of the character’s powers. Peaking will allow you to see your surroundings while staying in cover. More so, powers can also be used to distract guards with sounds, only to teleport away before they arrive. As always in Dishonored, the sky is the limit with what you’ll be able to achieve by letting your imagination run wild.
