Publisher 505 Games has announced that a secret project previously called P13 has officially emerged under the new name Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. The mysterious game is under development at the Swedish Starbreeze Studios.
The game will revolve, as the name indicates, around two brothers. These sons of a diseased father must bond together and find the Water of Life to cure their sick parent. To do so, they’ll have to play into each other’s strength as they face nature together. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is made in partnership with Swedish filmmaker Josef Fares, who chose to make this game to combine the thrilling storytelling of movies with the interactive medium of gaming.
Starbreeze is currently most known for the Chronicles of Riddick games and the Syndicate reboot from EA this year. Both are shooters and Brothers will be something completely different. Its fairytale allure seen in a short teaser certainly has us piqued. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is currently headed to digital networks on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC in spring 2013.
