The Good Life

Iceberg Interactive is taking their PC simulations to a breezier direction, with the announcement of The Good Life. This game will offer a rare mix of both ship sim and tycoon elements.

In The Good Life, players will take on the role of Michelle or Derek, as they fulfill a goal of becoming expert boat renters. This will come accompanied with everything that the tropical environments have to offer, along with managing a booming business to boot.

The Good Life will offer 6 different ship types to unlock and master, along with “ultra realistic” water physics both above and below water. A full 24 hour day and night cycle will give players an opportunity to sail by day and enjoy the nightlife as well. More so, aside from just sailing the seas, it will be possible to purchase buildings and manage these into a tropical empire. Over 50 harbors and a plethora of scenic locales are present in the game, where players can go diving and look for treasure or even battle pirates. A competition of up to 9 NPCs will ensure some exciting gameplay, as you struggle to become the biggest fish in the pond.

The PC game will release in Q4 2012. Iceberg Interactive holds the retail rights, as well as wordwide digital distribution rights.
