The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief Gets Free Interactive Novel
Publisher Nordic Games released a graphic novel for The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief. People can start getting acquainted with the rogue through this interactive story, to celebrate the start of the adventure’s preorder campaign.
In this free prelude, players walk the Parisian streets through the eyes of Nicolas Legrand, a detective obsessed with trying to catch the mythical criminal. This is presented with a silhouetted theme of sliding shapes and colors, like in Catch Me If You Can. Players can periodically interact with their environment to find out more about some highlighted items or to obtain clues to bring them closer to The Raven. This graphic novel will follow the same 1960’s whodunit style of the feature game.
The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief will be produced as a trilogy and release on PC, as well as Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Preorders cost 20% less with a price tag of $19.99 or €19.99, which is a 25% increase for Europe, so we’re not sure about that discount policy. In any case, the first chapter will release on July 23, 2013 and be followed up by the second episode on August 27 and the conclusion on September 24.
