This week’s Nintendo downloads in Europe will skip Wii content, probably due to the imminent release of the Wii U. Speculation aside, the publisher will launch extra content on 3DS.
The most notable release is the addition of the new Professor Layton game on the eShop. It has 150 new brain teasers en mini-games lodged in the Professor’s trunk. A daily new puzzle will also add 365 extras over the period of a year. It’s priced at €44.99.
Additionally, a few smaller titles will accompany this release, such as Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D. This on-rails shooter was previously released as WiiWare. Gamers can choose between 3 characters, each with their own traits. Battles can take place on land, sea and in the air and players can unlock new weapons. This item will be available for €4.99.
Tecmo Koei will release Mighty Bomb Jack. This classic platformer, formerly available on NES, sees the titular character collect treasures and bombs. It’s also possible to use Mighty Coins to upgrade Jack. This will also cost €4.99.
Laslty, Gameloft will join a line-up of weekly discounts and mark down Let’s Golf! 3D to €1.99, where it was previously €6. This offer only lasts one week. Gameloft is known for their creative use of other people’s ideas, like Modern Combat (Modern Warfare) or Nova (Halo).
