With a little more than a month to go before its delisting notice takes effect, publisher THQ is currently not doing badly with a 0.70 tally, but still needs more. Perhaps this is not the best time for them to lose the coveted UFC license, which EA recently secured. This news has affected the staff at THQ’s San Diego studio, which were responsible for these games. The latest iteration, UFC Undisputed 3, did fairly well in its release slot, so it’s a shame to see it let go.
To counter this news, THQ has launched a rather stellar trailer for the South Park RPG titled South Park: The Stick of Truth. In it, the 4 young boys embark on an adventure along with the mysterious new kid. It’s filled with suspense and action, so take a look.
More so, the publisher announced that the game headed for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on March 5, 2013 will receive some incentives for preorders. People who order their copy in advance will receive The Good Times With Weapons Pack, based off one of the most popular anime episodes of the show. A Bulrog Chicken Attack will transform enemies into clucking birds and there’s also Cartman’s Kick-Ass Sai. And naturally, the pack comes with a Samurai Outfit.
South Park will favor the Xbox 360 and gain a number of incentives for the platform. An exclusive preorder is available with the Mysterion Superhero Pack. This is based off the Lovecraft episodes en features a Superhero Outfit, a fiery Mysterion Special Attack and the dreaded Dagger of Cthulhu.
Additionally, the first 3 DLC episodes will come as timed exclusives to Xbox 360 and the Microsoft console will receive Kinect support.
Very excited abot this because Matt & Trey were directly involved
