THQ has announced new content for Darksiders II. The high-profile adventure game starring Death in his quest to overturn the apocalypse will receive its second downloadable content on Halloween. What could possibly be a more fitting time?

The DLC is called The Abyssal Forge and will focus on this evil contraption, created by an exiled man called the Mad Smith. His creation has since been amassing a vast army, which has become a new obstacle in Death’s path.

It’s said that the additional content will offer the toughest enemies and puzzles yet. An additional swamp area called the Shadow Lands will be added. This includes 2 new dungeons and a series of foes and special loot. The Abyssal Forge will be available for 800 Microsoft Points or its money equivalent on other platforms.

In other news, THQ is offering a way for you to be the star of WWE ’13. They’ve launched a simple app that allows you to put yourself on the cover of the game box, inspired by the crossed arm picture of CM Punk, the star of this year’s iteration. It should be self-explanatory, but just in cace, the publisher has a step by step guide that we’ll list below:

• Step 1: Import a photo from a personal Facebook gallery or take an instant photo using a webcam.
• Step 2: Position the photo in the provided frame, which includes the WWE ’13 logo.
• Step 3: Edit the image as desired using eraser and brush tools.
• Step 4: Select a platform preference – Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system or Wii
• Step 5: Choose how to show off the created cover artwork:
• Share the image with friends on Facebook
• Create a unique Facebook timeline cover photo and profile photo
• Save and print the image file – then insert into a WWE ’13 game cover for a whole new look
