Ubisoft has adapted to the free-to-play model like a chameleon at a Grateful Dead concert. It’s adding 3 new games to its browser roster, after already releasing The Settlers Online and that House, M.D. game.

The first title is a Facebook management game called Horse Haven. The FarmVille-esque game is exactly what you’d expect it to be. Spruce up a dilapidated farm, breed some horses, take care of them, participate in social events and so on. The game is available here.

Silent Hunter Online

Secondly, the developers from aforementioned Settlers game are also working on Silent Hunter Online; a strategic submarine title. It is said to contain a wide array of historically correct submarines and the ability to ‘alter’ gameplay for other players. In multiplayer, people will be able to search for other players and take them out, similarly to Naval War: Arctic Circle’s gameplay. People can now apply for the Beta here.

Might Magic Card Game

Lastly, the big U will also bring a card game spin-off of their popular Might & Magic series. Might & Magic: Duel of Champions will release for PC and iPad and integrate Facebook and other social options. It’s a traditional card game using the source material of the franchise. Given you have a Uplay account, you can apply for the Beta here.
