Ubisoft Digital Days Reveal A Ton More Games

Mighty quest epic loot

Ubisoft has been busy last week with their Digital Days event, where they showcased all their games. We already reported that Ubisoft hates money, given their sheer amount of free titles, but this gathering also revealed a few other titles as well.

Gamers that were unhappy with the recent change in the Call of Juarez series can find solace in the newly announced title. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is stated to go back to the series’ origins of bounty hunter using deadly force in the Old West. Players will be able to use a new progression system as well as return to Concentration Mode, which allows you to dodge bullets and fire at the same time. This title will arrive somewhere in 2013 for Xbox Live, Playstation Network and PC.

Another addition comes from the successful digital game Trials Evolution, which will release its first DLC called Origin of Pain on Xbox 360 for 400 Microsoft bucks. The download content adds new editor possibilities and 36 new tracks. More importantly, it introduces a BMX bike to the series. While there is no news of this DLC coming to other channels yet, Ubisoft has announced that Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will land on PC in early 2013. Aside from an optimized performance made for the platform, this version will also come with predecessor Trials HD.

On the mobile device front, the publisher announced a few games as well. Rayman Jungle Run will launch for Android and iOS devices on September 20, 2012. As the name suggests, the game will take the popular mobile running concept and adapt it to the styled gameplay that made Rayman Origins such a success. The creators of aforementioned Trials games are working on Nutty Fluffles; a game where stuffed animals go on a roller coaster ride. This title marked for Android and iOS devices later this year will feature 26 tracks. Players can use 5 different types of animals, which can help them collect stars and hearts to achieve high scores and unlock more content.

In a related note, the company has announced a sale for certain mobile items, such as Michael Jackson: The Expeirence for iPad, which starts on September 13, but also Prince of Persia Classic, which starts on September 17. More importantly though, some games will be free for iOS for a select time. The two titles are MotorHeroz, which is free from September 11 to 18 and Babel Rising 3D, which you can grab from September 15 to 18. Mark your calendar now and pick them up!

Naturally, Ubisoft still showcased their free-to-play line-up. The first DLC for Ghost Recon Online will launch this September 12, alongside an update that tweaks and balances gameplay. The downloadable Arctic Pack will contain a new Conquest mode map, 6 arctic camouflage weapons, 3 headgears and 2 body armors. These items are also available with Requisition Points, for a limited time. More info has also come up for Spartacus Legends, which has been announced as a free title for Xbox Live and Playstation Network. The game intends to keep fights fair by providing Fame points, which need to be acquired to use certain, stronger weapons. This title will release in 2013.

Lastly, another online project has been announced with the name The Mighty quest for Epic Loot. This free title will feature multiplayer aspects, where 2 players take turns attacking each other’s castle to find the treasure inside. It’s part tower defense, part hack and slash. The art direction so far looks quite stunning and the concept is certainly entertaining. The game will arrive in 2013 and is currently in Alpha.
