If there’s one emotion that describes the gaming community’s view of the MegaUpload takedown, it’s outrage. From annoyed warez fans to legitimate file users unable to access their data, there’s a lot to be annoyed about and little in the way of upcoming solutions.

But instead of taking your frustration out on others, take it out on the people that brought down the site itself. In the new Xbox game MegaUP, you take the place of Mr Kim Dotcom, the site’s leader and alleged piracy mega-tycoon. Escape from jail and upload files while evading the police.

The game’s obviously been made in a hurry, with the site’s downfall just over a week old. However, it’s still a fun experience. The gameplay is similar to the old school Contra games – you’re running from one side of the screen to another, but instead of dodging aliens, you’ll lead over FBI vans and police officers.

At just 800 Microsoft Points, it’s a cheap, fun way to get some virtual vengeance on the people that took down one of the world’s biggest file sharing sites. For those wondering about limited speed or stamina, it’s alright to relax – the in-game character has been significantly slimmed down from its real life counterpart.
