Metro: Last Light is still coming, despite THQ’s hardship. A new live action trailer will try to convince you of this. It’s filled with that Russian greyness, with grimy tones everywhere.
The short film is also deep with symbolism, like a mother singing to her infant to portray a feeling of peace right before all goes to hell. A troubling radio signal comes in that makes a man drop everything and make a run for it. We don’t want to spoil too much of the film, but the word “Armageddon” will righteously be used at some point. Also, as all end of the world scenarios go, it takes less than 2 minutes for people to lose their humanity and a frenzy to occur.
Metro: Last Light’s premise is one that lets the mighty Russian metro system double up as a bomb shelter for the nation. As 20 years pass, that threat seems to slowly drift away and that chimes in the era for mankind to resurface.
